What Synpese is, and what these terms cover
This is a plain-language start, not a substitute for the sections below. Where they disagree, the numbered section governs. By creating an account or connecting a workspace, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to accept them. If you use Synpese on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it and to grant the access you connect. If you do not agree, do not connect a workspace.
What Synpese does today: for an address on its invite list, it connects to Slack over read-only OAuth using exactly three read scopes, channels:read, channels:history and users:read, and reads roughly the last 90 days of messages from public, non-archived channels the Synpese app has been added to. It does not request, and cannot use, scopes for direct messages, group DMs, private channels or files, and it holds no write scope of any kind. Slack is invite-only, because Synpese is not in the Slack Marketplace and Slack limits apps outside it to reading 15 messages a minute from each workspace.
A language model then extracts knowledge units from what it read, a topic, the operating rule stated plainly, and a confidence score from 0 to 1. Synpese attaches the source each came from, the channel name, and each rule is embedded as a 1536-dimension vector and stored against your account. Message text is used to produce those rules and is not kept: what persists is the extracted rule and its source label, not the text it came from. Slack is the only source that works today, for invited addresses only, since Synpese is not in the Slack Marketplace. Linear, Notion and GitHub are not built: wherever they appear on this site, there is no connector, token or data for any of them.
What is not built yet
Not built: the Linear, Notion and GitHub connectors, a review step before new rules are served, and pruning of rules whose source was disconnected. What does run: the hosted per-account MCP server and its typed tools, nightly re-ingestion (each connected source re-read once a day, at a minute in the 06:00 UTC hour), in-product disconnection of a source, and in-product deletion of your account and everything keyed to it. The privacy policy keeps the full list; where it and the rest of this site differ about what runs, the privacy policy is the accurate one.
That matters legally as well as practically. Nothing on the not-built list is something you can rely on, receive, or be charged for today, and nothing in these terms should be read as promising any of it by a date. When a capability ships, these terms and the privacy policy are updated before it does.
